HexaData is the server and infrastructure brand of Esconet Technologies Limited,
founded by brothers Santosh Kumar Agrawal and Sunil Kumar Agrawal. Their technology journey began in 1998 as Electro Sales Corporation, a registered partnership firm based in New Delhi. In those early years, the business focused onwhitebox servers and workstationsbuilt on the Intel ecosystem, starting with dual Intel Pentium III processor-based servers at a time when the organised whitebox segment was still in its infancy in India.
Over the years that followed, the business grew steadily up the value chain. The AMD and ARM ecosystems were added alongside Intel, and the firm became an early adopter of VMware GSX, the leading hypervisor of the era, at a time when virtualisation was still a differentiating capability.
